This pack includes base drivers and Intel PROSet II for Intel PRO/100 Server and Desktop adapters, and Intel PRO/1000 Desktop adapters, for Windows 98 SE and Me. Does not apply to PRO/1000 Desktop adapters in Windows 98 original release. From 9.1 Master Software Release.
Includes Intel PROSet II, Makedisk, and Diagnostics. Separate downloads are available for the Users Guides and other features including Management agents.
If, after updating the drivers on Gigabit interfaces, you get a VFAT error, try booting into Safe Mode and then changing the Transmit Descriptors and Receive Descriptors to reduce the number to 80.
This software may also apply to 8255x, 82562, and 82540 Intel Ethernet controllers. Support for those products is provided by the board manufacturer.
