This software provides TWAIN drivers as an alternative to the hp photo and imaging software v2.2 scanning software that comes with the hp scanjet 8200 series of scanners.

These TWAIN drivers are an efficient way to gain access to TWAIN functionality. Many document management systems do not require all of the extended features included in the hp photo & imaging software v2.2.

Without these alternative TWAIN drivers, the entire hp photo & imaging software package must be installed in order to have access to a TWAIN driver.
